| The wide drain running from Clooney Lake to the sea at the sixth is known as the ‘Rampar’ by the locals, probably a shortened version of Rampart. It is an ever-present danger at the third, fourth and behind the second. A shot falling right of the third green will sink to its watery depths.
Par 3 – 171m
This is a long par three, with a drain on the right and a bunker on the left of the green.
Take an extra club to avoid the deep hollow in front of the green.
The green is not too undulating, so a tee-shot landing on it should result in a par or better.
