Vinny Herron was chosen as President of the Club in 2000 and 2001 but sadly passed away before his term of office was complete. This hole has always been associated with this fondly remembered lecturer, with a genius for mathematics. 

Par 4 – 390m
A dog-leg par four, this time to the right, around a large dune. The second shot is played to a sloping green from back to front. The deep bunker at the front left gathers many an errant shot. A two-putt finish is always a relief.
