News update…April 30th

Sean Rodgers was the man of the week by virtue of his 4BBB win with Denis Carberry at the weekend in the DP Barry &Co sponsored competition, and also with his 2nd place on Wednesday in the Open helped by a hole-in-one at the 11th. His exploits left Patsy Harkin looking for a late replacement for Sunday’s Minor League team as the native from Co Down lost a shot when the cards were examined.

John Molloy had a return to form by winning on Wednesday.

Our Minor League team take a 4 to 1 victory away to Redcastle this weekend, while the fancied Ulster Cup men got the better of Greencastle to advance to the next round.

This coming bank holiday weekend we have 4 competitions, with the usual Seniors 16 hole competition on Friday, single stableford on Saturday, monthly medal stroke on Sunday sponsored by Ulster bank and a 2 Ball Scramble any combination on Monday.
