Cathal Donoghue and his Ulster Cup team made Cairndhu fight hard for victory but the men from the Antrim Coast got the half they required from the penultimate match to go through.
Des Turley had a good win last week in the Wednesday Open getting the better of Dermot McHugh and son Stephen who took the silver and bronze positions.
The Diver’s Centra sponsored competition was won by Ardara man, Stephen McGinley with 39 points. It was good to see Marty McGing return to form in Sunday’s singles after his crushing defeat in the annual Killybegs DBI match on Thursday last when he scored 38 points to take second place.
